New Touch Screen Technology Provides Customers Faster, More Efficient Testing

CHICAGO (January, 2002) Atlas Material Testing Technology LLC, a global leader in weathering testing services and technology, today announced the implementation of new touch screen technology for all Ci3000+, Ci4000 and Ci5000 Xenon Arc Weather-Ometers.

Approved by both Ford Motor Company and General Motors Corporation for conducting SAE J1885 and J1960 testing on interior and exterior automotive materials, the Ci Series Weather-Ometers are providing Atlas customers with an innovative materials testing solution. The new touch screen control system further strengthens the Ci Series leadership position within the industry by providing customers new and improved technology, while offering a similar software structure to previous versions.

The new touch-screen control panel provides Atlas customers with a faster and more efficient testing experience. New feature benefits include the following:

  • Increased memory ¡V Speeds up test programming and simplifies operation allowing the completion of individual functions without scrolling between pages.
